This is described as a Novelty Card Effect originated by Ian M. Sparks. It was originally sold by Silray Magic, circa 1960, and comes with the original instruction sheet and still in the original Cellophane bag favoured by Ray Silver at that time! Abbott's Heavy Air Tube (£35.00)

This is basically the same trick as sold by Supreme Magic. The difference is that this version uses a silver coloured tube instead of the brightly sprayed tube which was supplied with the Supreme Magic version! Although I do not have Abbott's instructions, I have included a copy by Supreme which are very detailed.

Abbott's Last Card (£25.00)

A pack of cards is given out for mixing and when returned, the performer places four cards into clips each on one of four colours on the stand. Members of the audience then eliminate the cards in a fair and simple manner until finally only one card is left. This card matches a prediction in any manner decided by the performer. Self contained effect, complete with cards. Regrettably, I do not have the instructions but I will include my own simplified instructions!

This is rather nice! A red wood billiard ball complete with TWO half shells which completely cover the solid ball. Beautifully turned by a skilled wood worker!

An early Davenport prop. A large block with a hoile running through it is placed in a wood frame then a length of ribbon threaded through from side to side. Despite beins securely trapped by the ribbon, the block is made to penetrate the ribbon and come free of both it and the frame.

Bloxo - stage version (£30.00)

Five different coloured solid blocks are shown in a box, each has a gold letter on the side spelling the word CRATE. Any two colours are selected and these are the only two to fall free from a restraining rod which secures them all inside the box.The prop is well made in wood and was at one time owned by Faust the world famous illusionist.

Breakdown Double Dove Vanish (£40.00)

A box is displayed resting on a shallow base. The lid is lifted and 2 doves placed inside. Piece by piece the box is dismantled and both doves have completely vanished! Exceptionally well made in wood and metal, this prop is in good working condition. Possibly made by Davenports.

Another old classic trick which has been explained in many books. Four coloured wood chequers penetrate a length of rope. The chequers can also be used in other effects, completewith illustrated instructions.

Two metal cannisters are used in this effect. One is filled with Rice which then multiplies to overflowing, The rice then changes into coloured confetti. Nicely made, with instructions by Davenports.

This early Supreme trick is rather interesting! A coin is shown resting on the performes fingers, by passing his other hand over the coin it changes in value and then changes a tird time. Nothing is added or taken away from the hands!

De Land Automatic Deck (£15.00)

This is a marked deck which was produced back in the 50's. The card value is depicted on he back of the card and is very easy to see once you know where to look! What makes this deck specil is the fact that it has never been opened - the USA tax seal is still intact as is the cellophne wrapper!

This is a pre-war packet card trick which first appered in 1908! Printed instructions are included with the cards and everything is still contained in the original printed envelope.

Demon Block and Ribbon (£10.00)

A solid wood block with a hol;e passing through its centre is placed inside a wood frame and then a ribbon threaded through the frame and block. The magician causes the block to come free from the ribbon which is still threaded through the frame. Made in hard woods, this is difficult to date but is certainly pre-war.

Demon Rods (£20.00)

Three small plated metal bars are shown. The performer shows that one has a rattle and then mixes it with the other two. Spectator then try to find the rattle but fail every time but the magician always manages to find it! The trick comes in the original pre-war box and is with instructions.

This is a beautifully made Chrome Plated metal box. A classical prop which has stood the test of time. I have used mine with a puppet for many years and always had a great reaction from it.

Der Kopfzerbrecher (£25.00)

This original German puzzle, dates from 1910. It consists of 7 plain brown coloured ceramic 'tiles'. The tiles can be formed into many different shapes, letters or pictures although some are quite hard to do unless you follow the illustrated instructions. This was produced by F. Ad. Richter & Co around 1910 and comes boxed, complete with the German booklet, puzzle Tiles and a 2 page printed leaflet with background information downloaded from the internet.

Diminishing Coin (£20.00)

An old English penny is shown at the fingertips and when given a squeeze diminishes to become a half penny. This coin is then given another squeeze and then in turn diminishes into a Farthing which when squeezed vanishes completely and both hands are shown to be completely empty!
This is a clever gimmick from Max Andrews (Vampire Magic) circa 1960.

Guldiplex (£20.00)

There are several versions of this effect around. This differs from the others because it is made from clear perspex. Coins are made to penetrate a playing card which is trapped between two perspex 'cylinders'. From Timmerman of Sweden.

Hanky Frame Penetration (£25.00)

A handkerchief is borrowed from a spectator and then pinned to a wood frame and then covered with a sheet of paper. A knife, knitting needle or other 'weapon' is plunged through the paper without any harm being done to the handkerchief.

This prop made by Magicraft (Eric C. Lewis) is circa 1930. the m,agician borrows a spectator's £10 note and places it into a small dispay frame. taking up a knife , he proceeds to cut through the note anddespite the damage caused, the note is removed completely undamaged. The prop and routine is described in Eric Lewis's book, "A Chopice of Miracles".
