Another Blooming Trick (£6.00)

A packet card trick by Rob Bromley. This is a favorite with table hoppers as no resetting is required as well as being a really baffling card sequence!

Astra Question chart (£15.00)

This effect was devised by Gerald Kosky and will be of interest to mentalists as well as the Close up performer. Two 'Charts' are supplied, one which is suitable for framing and being a talking point in your room and the other can be carried in your wallet for impromptu work, as suggested by Ken Brooke.

Auto Rise (£10.00)

This rising card gimmick is added to your own pack and is very simple in operation. Creditied to Gus Southall.

Baby Gag (£7.00)

The Baby Gag was made popular by Ken when he used it in his Cabaret Act. This is the original art work by Ken Perks as supplied by Ken Brooke. Supplied in A4 size and laminated with instructions by Brian Eames, just ba wipe will keep it clean. Still as good today as it was 30-40 years ago!

Cardsplitpentration (£3.50)

Three cards, secured by a split pin through the centre. Strange as it may be, the centre card can be removed undamaged! Do not be put off by the low price, this would probably be £15 if sold today! Sorry, now Sold Out.

Choice or Chance (£15.00)

This is a very clever trick which will have your audience completely baffled! Complete with special deck, dice and original instructions. Excellent value

Clockaudacious (£12.00)

This trick was by Dick Koornwinder of Holland and was a fun trick when Ken demonstrated it at Conventions. Special pack supplied. Sorry, Now Sold Out.

Conway Rope Trick (£5.00)

If you perform the Professors Nightmare, this is the perfect ending to what must be the best rope trick ever invented! Pat Conway the renowned inventor of many tricks with matchboxes came up with this addition to a great rope trick. It is also perfect if you perform Trevor Lewis's Road safety routine, as I have done for many, many years! Highly recommended.

This is Bruce Cervon's original effect. Great card routine which is easy to follow and has a great finish!

Dotty Spots (£15.00)

This was Ken's version of the Dizzy Dominoe effect which many dealers claimed was their exclusive item and was ripped off by all the other dealers! Happy days for those who can remember that far back! Beautifully made in shining black perspex.

This is Ken's version of the Haunted Deck. His routine is what made it special.

I'll Start Again (£6.00)

This is his wonderful routine with a small black bat (paddle) and a piece of chalk. Great for table hopping! Was, for many years a feature of the late Joe Riding's Table Hopping repetoire as there is no reset.

One of many 'cassette tape predictions' which were very popular. This is a professionally recorded tape and would still be very novel today. Note; only the tape with instructions is supplied, other items that are required are all easily obtainable in any good toy shop

WOW! This is good!
A leather dice cup is used in any chop cup type routine. Cup only supplied, routines can easily be found in books or magazines.

This packet card trick was sold by Ken 'over the counter' because it really requires to be demmed!
as far as I am aware, he never advertised it in his catalogues

My Drink Trick (£10.00)

Origianlly sold by Harry Stanley when Ken worked for the Unique Studio. A packet card routine with an amusing story line, this was devised by Oliver MacKenzie who owned a hotel at South Queensferry, under the shadow of the world famous Forth Railway Bridge.

News Headlines (£20.00)

A desk of cards is genuinely mixed by a spectator and then tossed into the middle of a sheet of newspaper. The paper is then gathered up by the four corners and the cards given a further mix. When the paper is opened out all face up cards are eliminated and the process is repeated untill there is only one card left! The performer then reveals that he was able to predict what the last card would be. This effect was made up by Ken Brooke and was to have been sold at the Blackpool Convention but unfortunately he died 2 weeks before the event. I have just discovered what the effect was after a lot of searching, and was then lucky to find the instructions. There were TEN sets made up, but I ruined one trying to work out what to do with it, so now there are only SIX sets available and then no more!

Ostin's Lie Detector (£5.00)

From the fertile mind of Bob Ostin, this is a novel means of revealing a chosen card!

Pharo's Ring (£20.00)

This is based on a trick by Dutch magician, Marconick which has been given the Ken Brooke 'treatment'. The performer displays a most unusual looking finger ring which he explains has mysterious powers. A freely selected card is placed face down on the table, or spectators hand and without anyone having looked at it, another spectator is able to reveal its value!
The ring has a the figure of an Egyptian God mounted on it and is supplied in a black linen ring box together with the full 5 page, step by step routine written by Ken.

Sidewalk Shuffle (£15.00)

Jumbo sized cards with what is now a classic trick from Martin Lewis.

Suparings (£6.00)

Three bangles and a length of cord are used in a series of effects. From the fertile brain of Roy Johnson.

Tamaris Rabbits (£15.00)

This was another best seller for Ken and probably helped bring Tamaras into the magical limelight.

The Image (£30.00)

Several small compact mirrors are used in this close up routine. Unavailable for years, very collectable.

Transfusion (£5.00)

Basically a gag item using a biro pen which Bob Ostin came up with. He built it into a neat off- beat card trick

Tweezers (£5.00)

This little close up gem was devised by Mo Howarth. Complete with instructions and the neccessary 'props'

Wide Boy (£4.00)

Based on "Monty the Spiv" and definately a fore runner of "Sam the Bell Hop", the Wide Boy is a great routine to finish off ANY close up sequence. Great value when one considers what some card tricks cost today!
